Which Drivers licenses are valid? 

You can drive in France with your European license as long as it is valid. It is not necessary to exchange your European driving license for a French license to drive in France. However if you are not in the possession of a european license and you wish to pass your french driving license it will cost you around 1200/1500€. Remember that it is expensive but the main advantage is that it is valid throughout the whole word!

Please note in terms of transportation: Nice is a city well developed with 100 bus lines as well as 2 tramway lines. Furthermore, if you want to go back to your country or travel around the world, Nice owns the 3nd biggest airport in France after the 2 main one in Paris. • Liberation is fine, but not everywhere: avoid rue Trachel and rue Vernier.

• Le Vieux-Nice: Historical district of the city, you must have a walk there. Among the essential stops: places Masséna and Garibaldi, rue Pairolière and its many shops, the Chapelle de la Miséricorde, the Jardin Albert 1er and the hill of the Castle.
